Management culture

The contribution by JMAC to the development of management culture

We are convinced of the importance of communication to foster the development of Italian managerial culture and we do that through different channels:

  • Social networks: We have recently begun to exploit the opportunities offered by the Web 2.0 tools to let people enjoy discussions about key business management  issues and keep in touch with us. So join our discussion groups on LinkedIn.
  • public events: our colleagues are often invited as speakers to conferences and seminars, as well as they are required as teachers by the most acknowledged business schools;
  • mini seminars and Genba Walk factory tours: we organize seminars focused on specific themes for a limited number of participants, to let them share experiences and facilitate the networking among Italian enterprises;
  • publications: for years we have been contributing  to spread managerial culture by publishing books with major publishers, writing articles for magazines and creating practical manuals (see the Toranomaki series (*)).  You find clear information on a few methodologies in the pages we have uploaded for your reference in Wikipedia, too;

 (*) Toranomaki is a Japanese term that literally means "the tiger roll". It is one of six original scrolls the text "The Art of War" by Sun Tsu.
The JMAC Toranomaki series is to provide an essential pocket-sized practical tool to be used in the genba to direct the activities of improvement, i.e. kaizen.
